Hi!

 

My name is Anastasia

 

I spent my childhood in a small town in Russia. From the age of four, I developed a passion for drawing, which led me to study at an art school. 

 

Throughout my life, I would often be seen with pencils in my hands. After graduating from university,  I joined an advertising agency “Leo Burnett” in Moscow as a graphic designer. However, I kept my passion for drawing and continued to develop it through various courses in illustration.

 

After the birth of my child, I followed my heart and became interested in children’s illustration, devoting myself entirely to this field. I have chosen traditional drawing techniques, which I implement in a digital format. To date, I have published three books with illustrations from Australian publishers Ethicoolbooks  and FiveMilebooks. They are sold in Australia, the USA, and other countries.  I also have experience working with the illustration agency MBArtist in New York.

 

I occasionally participate in challenges such as Inktober, Folktaleweek and Crocodile Day.

 

After leaving Russia, I lived in Austria and Great Britain. I have now made Vienna my home, where I live with my husband, son, and cat, who are the main sources of my inspiration.
